He utilized most of his free time in after-school activities, even taking part in the photography club at his high school. He eventually went on to college, graduating from Kyoto University with a degree in Sports Medicine. Things in life took a turn, however, when he made the decision to move from his home area of Kyoto to the province of Osaka in order to pursue better opportunities that were starting to spring up. In Osaka, he was reunited with some of his old club friends, but the thing he didn’t know about them was that they were part of a local Yakuza group within the area.
Despite the joyful reunion between the group, things got ugly when two of them were found stabbed to death in an alleyway behind a local liquor store. This slightly freaked Raidon out and made him wonder if he would be a target given his association with his remaining friends. In an attempt to prepare himself for any sudden confrontations, he started training in Kickboxing and Muay Thai and occasionally took part in pro wrestling sessions as a means to learn extra grapples and throwing maneuvers. In the end, the training didn’t matter as the others were found dead with gun and knife wounds in Osaka Castle Park before Christmas in 2014.
The incident and aftermath left Raidon traumatized and in an attempt to cope with the loss, he briefly moved back to Kyoto to live with his parents for a feeling of security and confidentiality. His state of mind wavered, and his demeanor soon took on a blank look, but there was a look in his eyes that only spoke of cold hate. On the streets, this earned him the moniker of “Bone Cold” and it only became used more as he slowly became detached from those closest to him before he moved back to Osaka in mid-2015. There, he continued practicing Kickboxing and Muay Thai, but as a means to help unleash some anger, he started to pursue pro wrestling full-time. In it, he found some happiness and started to reconnect with others around him, but the cold look in his eyes remained for the memories of his friends being murdered in cold blood will never leave him...not even for a second.
