*The shot opens with Dexter Point's back, seated in a chair with the faint glow of a CRT monitor. It's presenting a faint glow that just barely illuminates the darkened room. Dexter looks over his shoulder and notices the camera man and gives a calling hand wave for the operator to come near. The camera draws so and tries to focus in on the screen, however, because of the age of the equipment, the words can be made out but obscured every so often by a black band that seems to scroll endlessly from top to bottom. GWA's facebook home is visible for those who recognize it regardless, and for those who seen it themselves, Darkyde's latest tirade is the focus. The camera rests on that screen for a few seconds for the rest of the viewers to try and catch up before Dexter gives a soft but intentional clearing of this throat before it backs up again. Dexter turns around in his seat to address it.*
Looks like despite me taking my well deserved time off from competition, I, Dexter Point, am still one of the most talked about individuals in the GWA. Before I address what you all just saw, let me first respond to Thayne Bell. I know you mean well. I was that plucky rookie looking to make my mark on the business as you are now. In fact, I hope you and Dylan Black send the Firestarters the message that it's time to find greener pastures and take the only thing that keeps them relevant: Their championship titles.
But where I have to step in is when you say you are the greatest performer in the GWA. I've built my entire career on giving the fans things they have never seen before. I have gave my body to them showcasing wrestling clinics not seen since the Dynamite Kid days. I've worked with the rookies and the all time greats and each time the people go home knowing they paid to see a once in a lifetime show. That's who Dexter Point is and will continue to be. If you're trying to claim you're at the top of the mountain, I'm here to tell you that you haven't even started climbing it yet. I'm going to officially post the contract for Pick Your Poison on gwa-online.com, sign it and prove to the world you have what it takes.
*Dexter now rises from his seat and looks into the camera directly*
Now, as for the now not-so-silent Darksyde. I'm flattered I made the list of people on your radar. You've done things in the ring that most people would be jealous of and continually make your presence known throughout this business. I agree, it's unfortunate we've never met on a larger stage and showcase what each of us bring to the table. But, like you, I'm tired of waiting. Let's get in the ring. Help me shake off this ring rust. I can promise you you won't just step over me without a fight!
*Dexter adjusts those famous glasses before the camera fades to black, while fading in a Tuesday Night Spotlight logo in it's wake with the time and channel information*

BIO:
Dexter Point is a verteran wrestler who has been with the G.W.A. for four seasons and has already left a huge impact. Dexter started out with humble beginnings hailing from New Paltz, New York, where he was raised by a single mother. Dexter would often attend wrestling shows on the weekends and was an avid viewer of G.W.A. programming most of his adolescent life. His younger brother, Kirito, while facing many personal demons relating to their father, would often join him. Alas, just before Dexter started training at his local wrestling school, Kirito had to be committed for his and other's safety. Dexter would go on to have some mild success in New Paltz Wrestling before being phoned for a contract offer several years later from the G.W.A. which is where his career really took off.
Dexter's first season saw him winning the world title, being involved in a season long fued with CJ Busha, and eventually being awarded the Wrestler of the Year award. His second season also saw him waging an all out war with the like of Caffrey, which helped propel him to be a household name. His third season was marked at the start with a handshake with the proverbial devil Brewer, which, along with several other notable events, would become the group known as The Firestarters This ultimately changed the style and tone of the G.W.A. for the couple of seasons they were reigning havok. After season 24, It looked as if Brewer was going to retire, so Dexter and the others seemingly disbanded the group. This was only for Brewer to make a shocking announcement that he was going to be a part of Zero Tolerance, and his first sign of loyalty to the group would be signaling out Dexter Point.
It looked as if Brewer was losing the tide of the overall war, when suddenly masked men began attacking Dexter, later to be revealed the previous Firestarters Mike Lio and Hunter Storms. Dexter was against the ropes as the interference from these men all night long during the tournament of bruises caused him to come up just short of defeating Brewer at the Tournament of Bruises. Dexter, fed up with the antics, reflected on what to do, and felt as if he had no choice but to release his brother Kirito on the G.W.A. world as a dangerous and hard to predict ally, knowing Kirito's brother bond would keep the two loyal.

-The scene opens up with a look at that familiar basement that the GWA audience has grown accustomed to seeing. Of course, with all the intrusions that this place has seen, some things are still unkempt, others being held together by what appears to be duct tape. The shot keeps moving until it finds Dexter Point standing in front of one display in particular. Pictures can be seen on the shelves, but what stands out is the "Firestarters" banner that adorns the top. Dexter turns around and addresses the viewer-
Here on these walls is memorabilia from when I was just your everyday kid, a pimply faced boy who was amazed at the world of pro wrestling. I collected scrap after scrap of what I thought were going to be my greatest pride. Signed photographs, wrestler biographies, even down to less accepted... articles. Even after amassing these, I found I wanted more, and trained to be a wrestler.
-Dexter looks back again at the shelve before speaking again-
Then I got my own accolades. My own pieces of wrestling history. Trophies, titles, merchandise, all of that will be hard to ever forget or diminish. I made a career out of surprising people, showing the fans things they had never seen before in the GWA. I thought that was going to be what I remembered the most. However, fate has a way to show you what really matters in this life. I had found what I thought was true friendship behind that curtain. People with the same visions I had. No amount of keepsakes can truly come close to that kind of camaraderie and there was one person in particular I felt would never wrong me.
-Dexter motions over to a photo of the now infamous hand shake that started the Pain Syndikate, which later evolved into the Firestarters. The camera pans in for a moment and hangs on that, but when Dexter begins to speak it cuts back to him-
It's you Brewer. When we were both being put on the back burner for stars we felt couldn't hold a candle to the product we were putting out there, we came together to commiserate and planned to do something about that. I thought that through all the trials and success the result was a bond that would never be shattered. When you joined Zero Tolerance, in a way I was happy for you. But when you took it upon yourself to lay me out after that war I had with Rex, I can't help but feel like you used me to prove loyalty to them, while severing the ties with me.
-Dexter's face gets noticeably serious and he raises a fist in reverse to the camera as it keeps panning in on his face-
Make no mistake though, old pal! I'm still the same cunning and fierce strategist you met two years ago. I won't be deferred so easily! I won't simply be cast aside! I know better than anyone else where the tide of change is coming from and you can be certain I'm going to be riding that wave before long.
-The shot then fades out to black.-

-The following is a press release from Simon Shyster, the legal representative of the Firestarters.-
1/11/2016
-GWA Charged with Unfair Labor Practices-
Today, the Global Wrestling Alliance(GWA), has been notified that they are being charged with several violations of the United States Labor Law. This motion has been a long time coming for the GWA, which has been marred with a shady past in concerns of unfair treatment of employees. Shyster & Shyster is proud to be representing the sports entertainment group known as "The Firestarters" which is now leading this charge for a more suitable work environment of every performer by taking the steps necessary to form a union of sports entertainers and other carnival workers.
The firm has submitted the document attached which is the first in many steps that must be taken to ensure the creation of said union. In its briefing, the reader will find a detailed account of the lopsided treatment of the labor force. This process is no doubt going to be an uphill battle as the GWA is a major conglomerate with a seemingly endless purse to pursue their interests. This type of challenge is to be expected, but also predicted to only be minor setbacks towards the goal of giving performers adequate representation.
Shyster & Shyster Law Offices is a for profit law firm centered in Poughkeepsie, NY. They have oversaw several cases including the landmark The People v. Grinch(1969), Brown v. Mathis(2000), and Red v. Blue (2014). They employ near 3 people and have been practicing law for nearly five decades
